Spotify is seeking motivated students who love music and are eager to grow. This is not a typical internship. Our paid program gives you the chance to learn deeply about life at Spotify and gain insight into the business side of a fast‑growing company. The summer program runs for about 10 weeks starting in early June.

Business interns are placed on teams that match their academic background and interests.

As a Marketing Intern, you’ll help shape how artists and fans experience Spotify in the world. You’ll work with a team of more than 100 brand managers, creatives, designers, copywriters, producers, strategists, experiential leads, and brand specialists. The internship offers a fast-paced introduction to music and content marketing, and your work will influence how people experience music.

As a Customer Success Intern, you’ll support daily tasks across the campaign lifecycle with the Customer Success Management team. You’ll be a dependable and essential part of the team, and your work will help shape the way listeners experience music.

As an Editorial Intern, you’ll contribute to editorial projects such as top-tier audiobook playlist curation, developing strategies to reach new audiences, and improving internal processes that measure team performance. The ideal candidate has a passion for analytics and stays tuned into the book community across genres. Your work will influence how audiences experience audiobooks.

What You’ll Do
You’ll be a key member of the New York City internship cohort in one of the following roles.

Marketing:
• Assist the Marketing team in developing creative assets and executing campaigns across internal teams and external agencies, focused on artist, partner, original content, or consumer marketing.
• Work with Spotify’s internal marketing organization and various external partners to support local and global campaign execution and approvals.

Customer Success:
• Create or revise sales orders.
• Handle inventory availability requests for media plans.
• Pull audience insight data for RFPs and campaign reporting.
• Manage IO processing, campaign bookings, and approvals.
• Complete third‑party brand measurement requests.
• Prepare kickoff, mid‑campaign, and post‑campaign reports.
• Manage production requests and submissions.
• Work with outsourcing partners to ensure accurate and timely completion of tasks.
• Support high‑level projects for the account management team.
• Handle onboarding, scheduling, and logistics for account management.
• Assist with unique requests for high‑profile accounts and campaigns.
• Organize strategy and planning sessions.
• Coordinate with cross‑functional partners on shared initiatives.
• Follow internal guidelines, processes, and workflows.

Editorial:
• Partner closely with US editors to develop strategies and processes that improve tracking of key metrics.
• Create a project that expands editorial programming opportunities for underrepresented voices and artists.

Who You Are
• You are pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing or a related field.
• You plan to graduate in 2026 or 2027.
• You have valid work authorization for the country where the role is based, covering June through August 2026.
• You are available from June 15 to August 21, 2026.
• You are highly self‑motivated.
• You have strong interest and curiosity about the global music landscape, genres, history, key artists, and reliable information sources.
• You are passionate about content development and the entertainment industry.
• You work well with others.
• You’re interested in production, original storytelling, and creating clear messages for consumers.
• You are skilled in Excel, PowerPoint, and Google Slides, and can work with role‑specific systems such as CRMs, OMSs, ad servers, and other digital media tools (for Customer Success roles).

Where You’ll Be
• This position is based in our New York City office.
• The internship includes in‑office events and networking opportunities. To participate fully, you’ll be expected to work in the office three days per week.

The hourly rate for this role in the United States is $32 and is eligible for overtime. Benefits include paid public holidays and learning and development opportunities. Pay rates may change.
