Spotify is looking for motivated students who love music and want to grow professionally. This is not a typical internship. Our paid program offers the chance to deeply understand life at Spotify and learn the business side of a fast‑growing company. The summer program lasts about 10 weeks, starting in early June.
Business interns are placed on teams that match their academic background and interests.
As a Marketing Intern, you will help shape the way artists and fans experience Spotify around the world. You will work with a team of more than 100 professionals, including brand managers, creatives, designers, writers, producers, strategists, experience specialists, and brand experts. The internship provides a dynamic introduction to music and content marketing, and your work will influence how people consume music.
As a Customer Success Intern, you will support daily tasks throughout the campaign cycle alongside the Customer Success Management team. You will be a reliable and essential part of the team, contributing to how listeners experience music.
As an Editorial Intern, you will work on projects such as curating audiobook playlists, developing strategies to reach new audiences, and improving internal processes used to track team performance. The ideal candidate is passionate about analytics and actively follows the literary community across genres. Your work will influence how audiences consume audiobooks.
What you will do
You will join the New York intern cohort in one of the following roles.
Marketing:
• Support the Marketing team in developing creative materials and executing campaigns in partnership with internal teams and external agencies, focused on artists, partners, original content, or consumer marketing.
• Collaborate with Spotify’s internal marketing organization and external partners to support the execution and approval of local and global campaigns.
Customer Success:
• Create or review sales orders.
• Manage inventory availability requests for media plans.
• Gather audience insight data for RFPs and campaign reports.
• Handle IO processing, campaign bookings, and approvals.
• Coordinate third‑party brand measurement requests.
• Prepare start, mid, and end‑of‑campaign reports.
• Manage production orders and deliveries.
• Work with external partners to ensure accurate, timely completion of tasks.
• Support strategic projects within the account management team.
• Assist with onboarding, scheduling, and logistics for the account management team.
• Support special account requests and high‑visibility campaigns.
• Organize strategy and planning sessions.
• Coordinate initiatives with cross‑functional teams.
• Follow internal guidelines, processes, and workflows.
Editorial:
• Work closely with U.S. editors to develop strategies and processes that improve monitoring of key metrics.
• Create a project that expands editorial opportunities for underrepresented artists and voices.
Who you are
• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing or a related field.
• Expected to graduate in 2026 or 2027.
• Hold valid work authorization in the country where the internship takes place, covering June through August 2026.
• Available from June 15 to August 21, 2026.
• Highly motivated.
• Strong interest and curiosity about the global music landscape, genres, history, notable artists, and reliable sources.
• Passionate about content development and the entertainment industry.
• A strong team player.
• Interested in production, original storytelling, and crafting clear consumer messaging.
• Skilled in Excel, PowerPoint, and Google Slides, and able to work with systems such as CRMs, OMSs, ad servers, and other digital media tools (for Customer Success roles).
Where you will be
• This position is based in the New York office.
• The internship includes in‑person events and networking opportunities. To fully participate, you are expected to work on‑site three days a week.
Compensation for this role in the United States is $32 per hour, with eligibility for overtime. Benefits include paid holidays and learning and development opportunities. Rates are subject to change.
