At AlemHealth, we’re providing access to high quality diagnostic healthcare in countries with the largest healthcare shortages. This includes places like Afghanistan, Iraq, Myanmar, Somaliland, and other places where Wikitravel’s restaurant recommendations are relatively limited. We’re looking for someone to join our team that can provide us with strategic and analytical support on the countries we currently operate in and the countries we’re looking to grow into. In addition, there may be travel, so adding to our internal wiki of restaurant recommendations may be required.

We’re looking for someone who can do, or learn to do very quickly, all of the following:

Operational analytics support – helping us develop our evolving list of KPIs, and more importantly, drilling down from our KPIs to understand the root causes behind the numbers. We need to constantly learn from our hospitals and patients, understanding what drives usage of our services, and how we can improve our product with them in mind.

Market entry analytical support – there are no shortage of countries and cities that lack adequate healthcare. We want to offer our service in as many as possible, but need to do so in a strategic and orderly fashion. As such, you’ll be tasked with supporting our new market entry strategies with data that accurately describes the attractiveness of new markets based on both past experience and future hypotheses.

Visualization support – all of this analysis is no good is we can’t easily track and incorporate it into our decision making. Accordingly, you’ll assist in selecting and developing appropriate visualization tools that filter the signal from the noise and can be easily understood both internally and externally.
