The Strategy & Operations team is one of several central groups reporting to Match Group’s Chief Operating Officer. It plays a key role in shaping the company’s direction and supporting long-term success by providing the analysis, insight, and guidance needed for sustained growth and competitive advantage. The team also connects the company’s broader vision with day‑to‑day execution, ensuring that all parts of the organization work together toward shared strategic objectives.

Acting as an internal strategy consultant to senior leadership and Match Group brands, the Senior Manager leads or supports top strategic priorities across the company. They work closely with executives to define the company’s vision and convert it into actionable plans. Responsibilities include conducting consumer, market, and competitive research, identifying new business opportunities, building business cases, creating execution plans, and addressing ad hoc strategic needs.

This leader is expected to deliver results with integrity, prioritize stakeholder needs, and balance short-term actions with long-term goals.

The Senior Manager reports to the SVP, Head of Strategy and Operations, and collaborates closely with other S&O team members, executives, and cross‑functional leaders throughout Match Group as needed.

Match Group is a global leader in online dating, with a portfolio that includes Tinder, Match, Hinge, PlentyOfFish, The League, and others—each created to help singles form meaningful connections. A sense of belonging is central to our products and to our teams.

We believe that while online connections matter, the most meaningful interactions happen in person. For this reason, we work together in our New York City or Dallas offices three days each week.

How you’ll make an impact:

• Conduct detailed research on industry trends, emerging technologies, and market opportunities to support strategic decision‑making.
• Analyze competitors to identify threats, opportunities, and ways to strengthen our competitive position.
• Identify new growth opportunities, including market expansion, new products/services, or supporting Corporate Development on investment opportunities.
• Use market insights to advise executives on potential risks and opportunities.
• Turn strategic goals into execution plans, launch new initiatives, and transition ownership to the appropriate teams.
• Work across departments to reduce silos and ensure alignment on strategy and execution.
• Align executive sponsors and project owners on shared milestones, deliverables, and outcomes.
• Support reporting and decision‑making by highlighting project progress, risks, and resource needs.
• Establish KPIs or OKRs to track strategic initiatives.
• Monitor performance and adjust strategies as needed.
• Identify and mitigate external risks that could affect strategic objectives.
• Serve as internal consultants on urgent cross‑departmental business challenges.
• Break down complex problems using structured analysis and develop actionable recommendations.
• Advise senior leadership on major decisions, including M&A, partnerships, and new market entry.

We could be a Match if:

• You have 8+ years of experience in strategy consulting, internal strategy, or enterprise program/project management.
• You have experience designing and implementing growth strategies.
• You excel in analytical work, including market and competitive analysis, applying strategy frameworks, and developing business cases with limited data.
• You actively use AI tools for strategic analysis, data insights, performance tracking, project management, trend identification, and other business purposes.
• You have strong leadership skills and a track record of aligning diverse stakeholders.
• You can manage complex initiatives through influence rather than direct authority.
• You communicate effectively with executives and can create high-impact materials for COO and C‑suite audiences.
• You are a highly organized, proactive, and strategic thinker who thrives in fast‑moving, ambiguous environments.
• You are a team‑oriented contributor who invests in building a strong, positive culture.

Salary range: $160,000–$190,000 annually. Actual pay may vary based on job scope, experience, skills, internal equity, and market considerations.
This range applies to New York, NY.
For Dallas, TX, the range is $136,000–$163,000.
Other locations may receive geographic adjustments if approved for work outside the listed areas.
