As a software engineer, you’ll work within cross-functional delivery teams alongside other engineers, designers, and product managers in building software to help improve field sales. About our engineering department
- We have iOS and Android apps that are our primary user platforms
- Our mobile apps have a mixture of Swift/Objective-C and Java/Kotlin
- The iOS app currently is a significant portion of our user base with Android growth internationally
- Our APIs are built primarily using PHP with Lumen currently being migrated to Elixir
- We use Gitlab for our repos and CI/CD
- We are a remote first engineering department

About you
- You are passionate about creating beautiful and functional experiences for users
- You demonstrate thought leadership with an emphasis in mentoring others
- You have at least 9 years of professional experience creating mobile software in iOS or Android
- You have experienced migrating a native app to Flutter
- You have experience leading teams from behind, and choose to allow collaboration to form the outcomes
- You love to mentor other engineers
- You are a problem solver with a passion for simple, clean, and maintainable solutions
- You have experience writing automated tests and appreciate the benefit that tests offer
- You are self-motivated and able to manage yourself
- You agree that concise and effective written and verbal communication is a must for a successful team
- You have experience working on a few large-scale mobile applications
- You are able to work within our core business hours of 9AM to 2PM MST
- Your working location is within the timezone range of UTC-9 and UTC-3
- You have strong written and verbal communication skills (English)
Here’s How You Will Make an Impact
- Help drive the product direction and achieve a market fit for new products
- Drive a migration to Dart/Flutter
- Assist in the development of APIs
- Build features and improve stability on our apps to enable users to be more effective
- Help create best practices that can be socialized not only within immediate team but also across the larger organization
- Increase our automated test coverage and deployment infrastructure robustness
- Address security concerns and proficiently maintain our mobile stack
