You’re a Sr. Full Stack Developer, with experience in Djangoworking remotely.

You must have experience designing and building high-scale web applications (e.g., well-designed APIs, robust cloud environments, efficient algorithms), and should be able to do so while working on a rapid shipping cycle.

We’ll rely on you to design, develop and implement reliable client-server connections. Your code will connect our front-end web app with AWS to contribute to the infrastructure and tools that support our customers VR/AR applications.

Responsibilities

• Develop an API for communicating with our web portal and end user’s applications
• Work with back end engineering team to help optimize cloud storage and data transfer
• Help get the first version of our VR/AR toolset across the finish line by supporting the backend and web portal

Requirements

• Intimate familiarity with the Django web framework
• Strong working knowledge of ECMAScript 6, HTML5/CSS3, and Sass.
• Familiarity with Gulp
• 3+ years of experience using web servers and shipping cloud applications (AWS or similar)
• Experience optimizing complex, database-driven web apps
• Good knowledge of API concepts and architectures
• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline beneficial but not required
• Track record as a self starter and efficient management of own time and work
• An interest in virtual and augmented reality
