Who We Are Looking for

SipScience is looking for an innovative senior-level engineer to join our team as the Senior Mobile Developer. The Senior Dev’s primary responsibility is to own, maintain, and scale SipScience’s stack.

Primary Responsibilities

Design and architect solutions for high-level goals and objectives * Actively contribute to code reviews and pull requests
Being able to design mobile applications from top to bottom, troubleshooting and fixing tough problems, hitting deadlines, and knowing when to push back on requirements

Job Requirements

Minimum five (5) years of experience programming in a professional environment
BA/BS in Computer Science OR Demonstrated expertise in programming to include a solid foundation in computer science
Culture Leader: Commitment to _Agile methodologies _(among others, collaboration and transparency are important for us, we’re not perfect at following it, but we aim at getting better every sprint) * GoLang programming expertise (Minimum Three (3) years)
Experience in Docker & AWS (Minimum Three (3) years)
Must have React Native (Javascript/Typescript) expertise(Minimum Three (3) years)
Comfortable with working in a startup environment (we’re a small team, we do our best to work as rationally as possible, but we’re not perfect!)
Strong problem solving and debugging skills with direct experience within mobile application environments, including monitoring, alerting, and distributed tracing for IOS & Android
Have a good sense of organization, the ability to set expectations and keep working on a timeline, with the ability to document, communicate and explain technology decisions and directions

Technologies we are currently using

* Deployment to Google Play and App Store * _Our tech stack: _React Native, JavaScript, Go, Docker, PostgreSQL, AWS, Python, SQL, Stripe, Firebase, Miscellaneous third-party APIs such as Twilio SendGrid, segment, etc. * Our app deals with data structures, algorithms, object-oriented software design, and working with cloud-based distributed systems
