Welo Data is launching an exciting project and is looking for talented individuals to join our team as **Transcribers**. In this remote role, you will transcribe audio recordings accurately, and add context through tagging and timestamps. **What you will do:**
– Listen to audio recordings in the target language and transcribe the content with high accuracy.
– Include timestamps to ensure the transcript matches the audio.
– Tag recordings with emotions, context, and other relevant metadata to improve project outputs.
– Ensure transcriptions are culturally appropriate and reflect the intended tone and meaning.
– Work with the project team to maintain consistency and quality across all transcriptions.
– Meet deadlines and follow all transcription guidelines and formatting requirements.

**Project Details**
– **Commitment:** Flexible; at least 10–15 hours per week (up to 20 hours depending on availability).
– **Job Type:** Freelance / Independent Contractor
– **Location:** Remote
– **Language:** Spanish (Rioplatense)
– **Pay Rate:** $30/hour

**Requirements:**
– Native or professional proficiency (C1/C2) in the target language, along with strong English skills.
– Prior experience in transcription, translation, or linguistic projects is strongly preferred.
– Ability to recognize and distinguish regional dialects, emotions, and contextual signals in audio.
– Strong attention to detail, excellent organization, and the ability to produce error-free transcripts.
– Familiarity with transcription tools/software, including working with timestamps and tags.
– Availability to meet deadlines and deliver consistent, high-quality work.
