You’ll be our first test engineer, working directly with our CTO, to write UI automation for our greenfield platform. You’ll have a major impact on the code and shape the direction of the product.
We’re looking for a strong test automation engineer, specifically with Selenium/Appium UI Automation chops.
You Will
- Write UI Automation Tests with Selenium/Appium in Nodejs
- Feed standardized test data back into our GraphQL backend
- Help design the architecture for our Selenium Grid cluster
- Write code to capture automation errors and surface them to the team
Our Tech Stack
- Microservices built in Elixir, Node. Js, & Golang connected using GraphQL and GRPC.
- React/Redux on the frontend (not even a single line jQuery, phew!)
- Kubernetes on AWS, Docker, Redis, Postgres, Elasticsearch
- Github, Atlassian, and Concourse CI for Development/CD.
Our Ideal Candidate
- Knows Selenium and Appium inside and out, and has written automation for Mobile/Desktop application in the past.
- Knowledge of (but not necessarily an expert in) server-side Javascript/Nodejs
- Has experience consuming REST or GraphQL APIs
- Knowledge and experience of agile software development methods
- You are passionate about the quality of your code
The team is located in Austin, TX and Dallas, TX. We’re building a remote engineering team, but are currently only looking for US-based candidates only.
