Responsibilities:
As a front-end test engineer, you will own the testing process of our mobile and web user experiences.
Specifically, you will:
- Collaborate with testers, developers, and the rest of the team to deliver well-tested features
- Understand our customers and advocate for their needs
- Assign and oversee test case execution for a small team of test associates
- Review design specifications and develop a complete test plan
- Build, update and execute test cases
- Determine and enact appropriate uses of both manual and automated testing
- Establish and champion testing processes and best practices
- Investigate, track, triage, and regress bugs
Core Skills & Experience:
- A special blend of curiosity, passion, and technical expertise
- Experience crafting and implementing automation for Android and iOS
- Expertise in black box and grey box testing
- Working knowledge of Javascript (Nodejs is a plus)
- Ability to test Android and iOS applications, end-to-end
- Experience shipping professional software product(s) through the entire SDLC
- Globalization and localization experience
- Excellent English language communication skills (written and spoken)
Preferred Skills & Experience:
- 3+ years of related experience
- Confident with modern source control, bug tracking, and test case management solutions
- Knowledge of continuous integration and build systems
- Typescript experience
- Debugging skills and root cause analysis
- React and React Native experience
