Position Overview

The Product Manager is responsible for the long-term vision and design of the product as well as guiding execution to fulfill that vision. This role will work closely with Development, Sales, Marketing, PMO, and customers to understand market insights, align priorities, and execute in ways to best serve the business’s overall objectives.

This role will be instrumental in defining the new industry that bridges the gap between traditional wellness and population health analytics. With such an exciting and emerging industry at hand, the Product Manager must be passionately curious, empathetic of its user base, decisive when opportunity strikes, and energetic enough to execute rapidly ahead of the competition.

Responsibilities

Market Intelligence – Research, analyze, and synthesize market trends, client needs, and available opportunities. Be the spokesperson for the market, our clients, and our users back to the organization.

Product Vision and Design – Envision the future and break down the product vision into pragmatic product elements. Gather, synthesize, and document requirements from clients, stakeholders, and industry experts. Educate the development team the value of each building block.

Agile Product Ownership – Guide the development team on building out each feature in short sprints and releases. Serve as the voice of the client and user and ensure the end product meets the requirements and goals outlined at the beginning.

Sales Training and Support – Train sales staff on the product’s key value propositions and differentiators. Interact with potential clients as needed to confidently provide product detail and market positioning.

Impact Analysis and Iterations – Continuously measure the usability and value that the clients, users, and business derive from the product. Use data to make informed decisions on where to invest further.

Vendor / Partner Management – Evaluate potential partners for varying levels of integration. Manage relationships as the product and market evolve.
