HLT builds apps using modern web and mobile technologies, such as Ruby on Rails, Objective-C, and Java. We operate as a highly collaborative team organized around an agile framework. We are currently seeking a Ruby on Rails Engineer to join our team.

Primary Responsibilities

• Designing & developing Ruby on Rails applications

• Designing & developing API libraries

• Developing and improving all aspects of our applications (development, testing, deployment, architecture)

• Working with RESTful APIs

• Writing elegant and maintainable code; a feature isn’t done until it’s been tested

• Writing ActiveRecord queries but also unafraid to get hands dirty with SQL

• Creating technical documentation for APIs and component designs

• Providing technical support of applications
