This role

We’re looking for a software engineer who can help us build and maintain software tools for assembling our brain-scale AI hardware. In this role, you’ll write libraries to process images and interface with sensors and actuators, which will be used by our research and engineering teams to build the future of intelligence.

Areas of contribution

Develop interface libraries and algorithms for assembling our novel optical system
Develop and manage a development environment for Fathom Radiant’s optical assembly software tools.
Work closely with Fathom Radiant’s various technical teams to develop unique and novel optical assembly systems

Requirements for this role

B.S. or higher in software engineering, or equivalent knowledge.
Minimum 3 years experience in software engineering.
Software development experience in C, C++, or Python
Software development experience in computer/machine vision

Nice-to-haves

Build automation experience
Software development experience in computer/machine vision
Software development experience in controls systems
Experience with precision motion control systems.
Experience developing hardware drivers
Experience developing for real time environments.

Indicative salary range for this role: $80,000 – $150,000
