My client is a leadingcompany in the world of data transformation for data warehouses. They have offices in UK and USA. They have award-winning products and a culture to match.

They have recently introduced Go in the company and have asked me to find a mid-level Go Engineer to work within one of their cross-functional development teams. This will be a remote role, with flexible working.

Ideally you’ll have:

– Experience with Go (2 years plus commercial or personal projects) and/or Java. C#
– An understanding of good software engineering principles (structure, patterns, testing, etc)
– Experience of Agile methodologies such as Kanban and/or Scrum
– Experience with Git version control
– Experience working with continuous delivery or build pipelines (Bitbucket Pipelines, GitHub Actions, CircleCI, Jenkins, etc)
– Experience building modern SaaS services
– Experience working with modern cloud platforms preferably AWS (Amazon Web Services)
– Good knowledge of software security fundamentals

It would be great if you also had:

– A demonstrable interest in programming with Go in either a personal or professional capacity
– Familiarity with React
– Familiarity with using monitoring and observability platforms (Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana)
– Experience with GCP (Google Cloud Platform) and/or Microsoft Azure.
