DigitalOcean’s software engineers develop next generation cloud infrastructure technology that will change how millions of developers build, deploy, and scale web applications. Our mission is to simplify cloud infrastructure; this requires knowledge in many different fields including distributed systems, virtualization, software defined networking, scale out storage, real-time data processing, and user interface design. You will work on a small team and own delivery from concept to production. We do not limit engineers to a specific product domain, which allows you to switch teams or projects on an ongoing basis, growing your skills and knowledge base.

As a member of the Delivery team, you will build solutions that provide DigitalOcean engineers with robust and comprehensive set of primitives for bringing a service from development to production. We believe that by providing the right set of tools and automation our product engineering teams can focus on shipping innovative products to our customers faster and more reliably.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Develop, evaluate and deploy software to provide automation and modern tooling around our internal software delivery pipeline, which consists of solving problems such as:

• Continuous Integration

• Deployment

• Orchestration

• Secret management

• Service discovery

• Partner with various engineering teams to make sure that we deliver an excellent developer workflow spanning from development-to-production

• Participate in reviewing code, help evaluate implementations and provide feedback about potential improvements

• Drive adoption of the internal services that we build
