We’re seeking a Senior Software Engineer to become an integral part of our team!
At Inspired, you will design and develop applications across multiple platforms (Web, Mobile, E-commerce, etc.) that contribute to our ecosystem of product and technology that makes the world a better place.
Senior Software Engineers at Inspired
- Lead the implementation of core systems and product features, in collaboration with product, design, and engineering
- Work closely with UI/UX engineers to create performant APIs that are tailored for consumer experience
- Create reusable APIs, libraries, and components for standardized, rapid development across products and features
- Build scalable cloud-hosted infrastructure, deployment tools, monitoring, and other devops systems to facilitate consistent, reliable deployments
- Educate, mentor, and provide hands-on support to other engineers
Ideal Candidate
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, or related industry, or equivalent that provides a foundation in engineering / computer science
- 8+ years of professional experience as a Software Engineer, or similar
- Proven track record of building scalable APIs and integrating with 3rd party platforms
- Passionate about system design, code quality, and has a strong sense of ownership
- Experience working in an agile environment — collaborating with others to refine requirements, and assessing technical solutions to influence the product roadmap
- Experience running production systems at scale in a distributed environment
- Experience building and maintaining devops process and tooling
- Hands on experience in the Shopify ecosystem, or similar marketplace
- Eager to build web3
