About Glasp:
Glasp is a social web highlighter that people use to highlight and organize quotes and ideas from the web seamlessly, and access other like-minded people’s learning simultaneously. With generative AI, we aim to offer personalized outputs such as a writing assistant, research assistant, personalized summary, digital twins, and more.
- Available Applications: Explore our Chrome Extension and Safari Extension. We are also excited to be in the process of building a mobile/tablet app, using GraphQL with Rust for our native iOS and Android applications.

What you will be doing:
- Spearhead the rewriting and strengthening of our browser extension and web application.
- Build native mobile/tablet apps for both iOS and Android with GraphQL and Rust.
- Incorporate basic ML for building a personalized recommendation system.
Experience that we’re looking for:
- Proven experience building web applications and browser extensions using Javascript, NextJS, and other modern frameworks.
- Experience in building native mobile/tablet apps for both iOS and Android.
- Familiarity with Firebase/Firestore, GraphQL, Rust, Typescript, and Python.
- Basic knowledge in AI/ML for recommendation systems is a plus!
- Ideally located in San Francisco, but remote work is welcome from any time zone, with a daily standup at 8 PM PT.
