We are looking for smart, full-stack generalists who are excited to build & launch new features, work with business & design stakeholders to solve problems, and experiment & iterate on a product in true lean startup fashion. Moving fast is necessary; breaking things is optional 🙂

Our tech stack is Python/Django on the backend and AngularJS on the frontend. We’re doing powerful things with machine learning in Python, and experimenting with Docker in production.

Responsibilities

• Work cross functionally with key stakeholders in design, product, and business development to help decide & prioritize what to build
• Personally implement new features for the site, working full-stack, from the database, through the Django application layer, to CSS & Javascript in the browser
• Backend engineering: write elegant, well-tested, readable Python
• UI engineering: HTML/CSS, jQuery/Javascript, in-browser DOM programming
• Support site operations (DevOps for our EC2 production environment)

Requirements

• 7+ years experience in similar role or responsibilities
• B. S.or higher in Computer Science (or equivalent work experience)
• Experience building consumer web products
• Previous experience as a Dev Lead
