We’re looking for experienced application developers – people who know software inside and out, and can make insightful, every-day decisions to ensure a delightful user experience. While you’ll be responsible for the back-end, you shouldn’t be held back just because it’s not your job to write the headline copy. Sane defaults and an ingrained empathy towards your users are more important than dogmatic tool choice or a few percentage points of test coverage. We craft experiences, no matter the toolset.
That said, we do lean toward a particular stack. So you should know it, or be able to transfer your current experience to bootstrap quickly. You should be comfortable working in an agile development environment with Git-based version control. You should understand the web, and it’s many and varied access points. You’ll easily wear different hats while mastering your main role.
