Software Engineer

Onu is developing an industry leading platform for targeted data and content management. Our platform is constructed of many services with web and mobile front-ends.

Onu engineers collaborate with our small team of designers, strategists and engineers to create innovative products for our clients while building a powerful commercial platform of which we can be proud.

As an engineer at Onu, most of your time will be spent writing and reviewing code. But you’ll also have an equal voice in the entire lifecycle: Research, design, planning, project management, technology choices, documentation, customer support, testing, etc.

Requirements

Technical

At Onu we are not married to any one technology or language. Onu engineers have a strong grasp of at least one programming language and are familiar with several others.

Onu engineers are passionate about high quality code and processes. We practice test-driven development, continuous integration and agile lite. We have high standards. We hold others and ourself to these standards through code reviews and daily interactions.

We strongly value learning from our peers through collaboration. We also autonomously dive deep to solve complex problems with innovative, simplified solutions.

At Onu our engineers are more than developers. Our responsibilities extend beyond the code we write. We take ownership of all of our infrastructure, databases, monitoring, support, costs etc.
