What we’re looking for: You’re a backend or full-stack web developer capable of working with and building RESTful APIs, architecting databases, and rapidly prototyping software.

What’s important to us: We work with a huge variety of clients on a breadth of projects requiring different tools, libraries, and approaches. We most frequently use Nodejs, Python, PHP, MongoDB, MySQL, Gulp, and SCSS. You need not be an expert at everything—we’ve all learned on the job. We’re looking for someone self-driven who can kick-off a project and pace themselves well. Ideally, you’d be a backend developer who is comfortable working from wireframes, can rapidly prototype features in code, and works autonomously, without supervision.

Where you’ll work: Wherever you’re happiest. While Planetary is based in New York City, you can work from anywhere you’re comfortable and productive.
