Hugo is looking for a software engineer to work on our platform backend, specifically related to systems integration and web service development. Candidates should have significant software development experience, preferably with prior experience in the healthcare sector. The software engineer would be integrated with a current team of experienced developers who work from both local and remote locations.

Skills

• Experience with Java and NoSQL (MongoDB)

• Familiarity with healthcare data formats preferred

• Strong proficiency in data modeling and RESTful APIs

• Understanding of object-oriented programming

• Ability to integrate multiple data sources and databases into one system

• Able to implement automated testing platforms and unit tests

• Proficient understanding of version control tools (Git)

• Familiarity with continuous integration
