Responsibilities
- Develop software using TDD and Agile methodologies.
- Pair (virtually) with our Lead Engineer regularly to solve interesting problems.
- Help architect the infrastructure that runs our software using Infrastructure as Code and DevOps best practices.
- Scale systems to meet increasing demand.
- Improve the availability and resilience of existing systems.
- Collaborate with our diverse team to solve problems across all departments in our company.
- Interact directly with CEO during product road-mapping. Have a real voice and seat at the table.
Requirements
*Minimum of 3 years full-time software engineering experience. Required.
- While this position is Remote (U.S.), you must reside in the United States and be authorized to work.
- You must be passionate about building high-quality software with user security and privacy in mind.
- You have a learning mentality, constantly reading about and testing out new technologies.
- You have proficiency in multiple programming languages and you have a pragmatic approach about choosing the correct language for the job.
- Python is our primary language and experience with it is a plus.
- You have experience managing AWS services in production environments, including ECS, RDS, EC2, and S3.
- You are fluent in English.
- We demonstrate high integrity in everything you do.
- You must be available for certain meetings and pairing sessions weekly, but other than that, scheduling your time to code is generally flexible. We are a very trusting environment.
