We are looking for an enthusiastic junior developer to join our small but experienced development team of 3 people. Our objective as a team is to maintain and mature the software. We are only interested in someone who is a team player who can take ownership of their work, and has a level of passion for what they do as opposed to someone who is just looking for a paycheck. We want you to grow alongside the company so it’s important we find someone that is willing to learn and be mentored as you grow with us.
Requirements
The Obvious Stuff
- Strong problem solving/technical skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a remote team environment and hold yourself accountable
- Detail oriented and organized
- Ability to quickly learn new software and technologies
The Technical Stuff
- Experience with the following web languages: HTML, CSS, Javascript
- Experience with Angular (2+)
- Experience with PHP
- Experience using git and GitHub
Responsibilities
- Follow specifications to build out new features/systems within the software
- Investigate and fix bugs/problems with existing code
- Learn the codebase and our internal systems
- Improve knowledge of relevant frameworks and languages
- Attend and contribute to daily morning development team meetings
- Assist the development team with all aspects of software design/development
