Tasks/Responsiblities:
- Be a key driver behind 3D Graphics Rendering Engine of the navigation Map Viewer
- Participate in the rendering performance analysis/improvement, look and feel design definition from rendering POV, and shader code development activities
- Create pilot / productive code implementations, GPU benchmarks, and shader code samples to achieve/explain desired 3D Graphics software behavior from rendering POV
- Deep understanding of GPU pipeline, architectures of graphics drivers, 3D Graphics, OpenGL ES 2.0-3.0, NDS based navigation solutions, would be a considerable plus
- As part of a matrix organization work with engineers, designers, testers, and managers in multiple locations as needed to help integrate and productize your solution
- Elaboration of component design, concepts, algorithms, interfaces, and shaders for new 3D graphics features in domain rendering / C++ embedded Navigation Software
- Performance analysis / profiling of an existing C++ / Shader Code in a component-based environment
- Elaboration and pilot implementation of rendering, optimizations for embedded systems (huge project with several millions LOCs: C++, OpenGL, Mocca, DSI)
- Technical discussions with developers of Navigation Software
- Elaboration of outstanding rendering / 3D graphics solutions
- Evaluation of existing rendering, technologies and elaboration of new rendering solutions with focus on Navigation Map Viewer Software in embedded systems
