GENERAL DESCRIPTION
The Software Developer is responsible for analyzing the needs of users, and designing, developing, testing, deploying and maintaining software installations in ENERGY worldnet, Inc. (EWN) computing environment. The Software Developer must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintain system integrity with routine refactoring and optimization of AngularJS and C#
Adhere to coding standards and contribute to enhancing them as needed
Document new and existing processes
Work with business analysts regarding current or future processes, issues, or requests
Work with SQL developers to facilitate the communication between the application and the database
Share daily updates with the technology team via SCRUM (work completed, work pending, and/or impediments)
Research new technology and present ideas to the team
Propose projects, assist in timeline creation and may mentor developers
Collaborate with other team members
Analyzes and completes development tasks as assigned
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
At least 1 year of experience in Software Development
Experience with JavaScript
Experience with C#
Experience with CSS/HTML
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Knowledge of:
Object-oriented programming
Source control methodology
Web application architecture
Skill in:
Analyzing information
General programming
Software design, software debugging, software documentation, and software testing
Critical thinking and problem solving
Documentation (Word, Excel, Markdown, etc.)
Ability to:
Organize and plan work independently

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS AND KSA’s
Associates or Bachelor’s Degree in related field OR comparable experience
Experience with ASP. NET Web API 2
Experience with AngularJS
Experience with Dependency Injection
Experience with Unit Testing
Knowledge of Agile development model (SCRUM, work assignments, timelines, and team structure

FLSA Classification (Exempt, Non-exempt): Exempt
Must be US citizen or green card holder
Must NOT reside in California or Massachusetts
Travel Requirement (% of 40-hour work week): Quarterly meetings
Remote work eligible: Yes
Shift: 7am – 4pm, 8am – 5pm or 9am – 6pm M-F
Environment: Although this position is remotely located, the person hired for this position will have to travel monthly to work out of our main office in Decatur, TX. They will physically work in Texas 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. one (1) week per month during their probationary period (first 90 days of employment). At the end of the 90 day probationary period, the candidate will have the opportunity to apply for 100% telecommute.
