Reporting to the Software Development Lead, the 1QBit Software Developer will partner closely with 1QBit’s Fundamental and Applied Researchers to prototype algorithms and methods during the early phases of a project. As an Software Developer, you will be responsible for the delivery of final, highly optimized and thoroughly tested C/C++ solutions. To suitably benchmark solutions, you will be required to work collaboratively with the researchers as well as review academic or industry literature for classical solution methods, collaborate with industry experts, develop custom solvers, and recommend appropriate hardware configurations for meaningful benchmarking. You will document project code and summarize your methodologies. There will also be opportunities to contribute at partner meetings and technical discussions, present at conferences, and author research papers.
