The Software Automation and Quality Assurance Analyst is responsible for the delivery of defect-free softwareand improving and maintaining the quality of our software products. You will collaborate withdevelopers for improvements to processes, tools and testing approaches, and help deliver greatexperiences to the clients that we love.
You will design, implement, document, and maintain processes and procedures designed tofacilitate software testing and QA efforts. You will also assist in the efforts to execute the testingof software and report the results to the SQA Manager or Project Manager.
This is a telecommute position, reporting to the Software QA Manager.
Your plate will be full. On any given day, you’ll be asked to:
Participate in the testing process, from requirements analysis and test case definition toperformance testing and automation.
Peer-review test cases to ensure they meet required criteria.
Support and/or implement testing and development methodologies and practices,version control practices, and defect management practices.
Create effective strategies for testing based on functional and technical needs.
Take a planned and self-directed exploratory approach to defect resolution.
Write, track, and follow-up on defects, workarounds, and fixes.
Analyze results and deliver test summaries and recommendations to the CRM and Innovation teams.
Contribute to improving our testing process at Fire Engine RED.
Monitor the automation suite on the CI server and diagnose test failures.
Write and maintain Codeception based automation tests.
