Position Overview:

We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Skincare Education Content Expert to join our team on a freelance, part-time basis. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of skincare science, ingredients, and industry trends, as well as experience creating engaging educational content for various platforms.

Responsibilities:

  • Research and stay up-to-date on the latest skincare trends, ingredients, and scientific developments.

  • Develop comprehensive educational content, including articles, blog posts, social media posts, videos, and infographics, to educate our audience about skincare best practices.

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to align content strategy with brand objectives and marketing campaigns

  • Collaborate with PD and R&D to translate product function, ingredients, and technology into educational content

  • Ensure all content is accurate, credible, and evidence-based, adhering to brand guidelines and industry standards

  • Monitor and analyze the performance of educational content to optimize engagement and effectiveness

  • Contribute ideas for new content formats and topics to enhance the brand’s educational offerings

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as dermatology, cosmetology, biology, or a related discipline (preferred).

  • 4 years Proven experience creating skincare-related content for digital platforms, preferably within the beauty or skincare industry.

  • Deep knowledge of skincare science, including understanding of ingredients, formulations, and skincare concerns

  • Excellent research skills and ability to translate complex scientific information into clear, accessible content

  • Strong writing and communication skills with attention to detail and grammar

  • Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and collaborate effectively with remote teams

  • Passion for skincare and commitment to staying informed about industry developments

Location:

  • Hybrid (Partial Remote, Partial In-Office) – New York,

$70,000 — $90,000/year
