Position Responsibilities:

• Responsible for developing, enhancing, modifying and/or maintaining applications.
• Design, develop and maintain high-performance and high-availability software products.
• Work with other development team members to implement designed solutions.
• Take ownership and accountability for the deliverable in all phases of the development lifecycle.
• Proactively participate in platform design and review activities.

Skill Requirements:

• Minimum 4+ years of overall development / technical expertise.
• Proficiency in ColdFusion, Java, JavaScript, HTML5, PHP, and the entire development stack.
• Experience with jQuery and JavaScript frameworks.
• Knowledge and experience with Agile and test driven development practices.
• Working knowledge of Git.
• Experience in MySQL.

Desired Traits

• Experience using Java Frameworks, preferably Spring.
• Experience using ColdFusion Frameworks, preferably ColdBox.
• Experience with OAuth for clients and providers.
• Experience with Amazon AWS and working in a cloud environment.
• Experience developing PHP applications and WordPress plugins.
• Experience in continuous integration and build processes (Jenkins, Circle CI).
• Experience with Docker and Vagrant.
• Experience with caching technologies (Redis, Memcache, AWS ElastiCache).
• Knowledge and familiarity with Big Data technologies.

Education:

• Minimum education requirement: Bachelors degree in computer science or related field.
