EFL is seeking a JavaScript guru that can work closely with our product and design team to implement our next generation content and delivery system for end-users in emerging markets. EFL works with end-users that could be farmers in rural Mexico or shopkeepers in Nairobi. This position will own the direction and implementation of this powerful platform. You will own our Discovery Module framework that allows us to build new exercises as self contained Single Page Apps (SPAs). You will also own our Applicant Journey Web SDK that let’s us deploy Discovery Modules online. You will also own the creation of the content itself! We are continuously developing new content based on the predictive models that we are building and you would get to build lots of little Single Page Apps that do one thing and do it well! How satisfying would that be?! The job is rewarding but also challenging and we are seeking the right person to help us!
Primary Responsibilities:
Chart the course for EFL as we build out our next generation online content and delivery platform
Work closely with EFL product managers, designers and field researchers to plan, design and implement highly innovative front-end user experiences that work across a variety of cultures and education levels
Prepare estimates on feature scope and delivery with our product team
Rapidly and continually deliver high-quality code
Location: Boston. Outstanding remote candidates may be considered, but due to the collaborative nature of the job, Boston-based candidates are highly preferred. You will have the opportunity to travel to visit team and clients in Peru and likely other EFL countries across the globe to work on ground-breaking UX projects with a wide variety of different end users.
