We are seeking a full-time employee at the senior staff engineer level to join our team in San Diego. This person will lead all development initiatives and our overseas development team, and will be the primary resource for systems and technology decisions moving our product into the future.

Our ideal candidate will have extensive experience developing web applications using the Microsoft technology stack while working with and managing a distributed development team. They will possess exceptional user-interface and user-experience design understanding/experience, both web and mobile, which will be extensively leveraged while working with product management to strengthen the visual identity, and polish the end-to-end user experience workflows within the product.

Responsibilities:

You will be the technical lead and manager of our overseas development team while working closely with product management executives in San Diego to deliver a first-class business productivity cloud application to a hungry market. Responsibilities include:

• Audit and manage the existing architecture, code, and technology stack • Create and manage the forward-looking technology roadmap • Design, development, and maintenance of our flagship product • Work hand-in-hand with product management on the design of new product features • Specifications, architecture, wiki pages, and other design documents • Management and direction of unit tests and test scaffolding • Code reviews, cross-training, and mentoring of the overseas team members • Providing accurate development estimates (and meeting those commitments)
