Job Description: Senior Web/Application Developer

We’re a growing company that built a SaaS local marketing automation platform and we’re looking for a full-stack developer to join our team. We need a developer that has strong development skills – think architecture, components design, design patterns, modern cache usage, testing, refactoring skills and RESTful APIs. In addition, you are comfortable in taking a project from beginning to end working closely with product owners. We are mainly a PHP shop, but if you have strong Java experience and interest in working with other languages with a strong object-oriented approach, please consider this opportunity.

About Us

We manage enterprise-level SaaS platforms for Fortune 500 customers, and our web-based platform produces all forms of advertising from ads, flyers, emails and any other advertising collateral you can think of.

Our customers want to build brand marketing materials that allows them to customize the material to their needs, without violating brand standards. Our tool allows the brand to lock down the aspects they don’t want to be editable while still empowering the local user to customize the parts that make the material unique to them.

Who we Seek

A strong object-oriented developer with at least 5 years of work experience in software development, mastery of modern web-based development, and knowledge of queues and caching. Any experience with Zend, Symfony or Java web technologies is a huge plus. This is a great role if you’re looking to work on exciting projects for a well-established, well-recognized company.

You’ll be helping in designing and thinking of a service architecture for the product. Interest and/or experience with mircro-service architecture, and distributed networks are a plus. For this position a track record of hands on implementation, and strategic thinking is central.

We develop using Agile methodologies (Scrum), and team members take responsibility for their work and cooperate for a common goal. In addition, If you enjoy mentoring, we have junior developers who would love your input.

Skills & Requirements

• 5+ years experience with Java/PHP BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent JavaScript – experience with a framework is a plus Source Control HTML/CSS
