The Senior UI Developer – JavaScript’s primary role is to design, implement, and maintain web-based user interfaces and related systems through.
As a Senior UI Developer – JavaScript you will focus on design and development of a cloud-based geographic information system user interface. The user group includes water utilities, state regulators, scientific researchers and other user groups in the water community.
The technology stack currently includes HTML5, JavaScript, PostgreSQL, PostGIS, Geoserver, OpenLayers, JQuery Mobile, etc. Desired features include visualizing 100’s of GIS layers, creating and editing GIS and nonspatial data, utilizing Python scripts and other tools to perform geospatial analysis, producing exportable canned and adhoc reports, and user/group security administration for datasets and UI features.
We expect the Senior JavaScript/UI Developer/Programmer to support these efforts by creating simple and intuitive, yet powerful, user interfaces for sophisticated workflows. These user interfaces will include or interact with the desired features mentioned.

Working remotely is a possibility if you can demonstrate the level of discipline and productivity to do so. However, a local presence is preferred.
