Sonian is looking for an experienced Senior Systems Engineer to join our Technology Operations team. Our ideal candidate is a highly motivated, goal-oriented and team-focused engineer with a passion for operating in cloud, developing automation and overseeing systems and infrastructure.

Reporting to the Sr. Director of Technology Operations, the Senior Systems Engineer will be responsible for contributing to the design, deployment and support of the end-to-end infrastructure for one or more Sonian offerings.

What You’ll Do

• Ensure strict adherence to Technology Operations procedures, including incident, release and change management procedures.

• Solve complex infrastructure problems with the least possible human intervention.

• Design, develop and operate/maintain highly available, robust, resilient and supportable SaaS solutions and ensure streamlined/automated application deployment.

• Assist with new releases from inception to deployment.

• Work with Product Teams to build a set of Performance benchmarks and test each new release of Data Core applications against these benchmarks. Develop and utilize performance and capacity management KPIs for proactive management of a large distributed infrastructure environment.

• Work as part of a service specific engineering team to design, deploy and support 24x7x365 operations.

• Consolidate system data to formulate reports for business managers.
