The Senior Software Engineer (SSE) is responsible for the design and development of a wide variety of components and solutions that support the AcuRite brand and product portfolio. The SSE will be required to build software solutions based upon architecture specifications. Primary platforms for Web Client Development include Amazon Web Services, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, CoffeeScript, and AngularJS.

This position requires a seasoned expert in enterprise application development whose experience has been formed and shaped by practices and principles that directly impact results. The successful candidate will be a driving force in developing numerous, diverse and technically ambitious projects across multiple platforms.

• Develop user interfaces for AcuRite products and applications;

• Interact with users and stakeholders to gain input for rapid revision and development of UI;

• Implement and debug solutions and components;

• Participate in design sessions to collaborate with the development team and stakeholders on patterns and practices for developing applications and solutions;

• Write and execute tests for solutions and components;

• Produce technical specifications and development tasks to implement new product solutions and components;

• Troubleshoot issues and defects for technology products;

• Produce technical specifications for solutions to reported software support issues;

• Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices and patterns.
