One of the big bets for the company is Commercial Lending. The newly formed team will pave the way for the Company for launching new and innovative lending products across Lines of Business and markets worldwide. You will be part of a fast-paced, entrepreneurial team responsible for building world class, high performance platform for the Commercial Lending business using cutting-edge technology and data. You will be challenged with identifying innovative ideas and proofs of concept to deliver against the existing and future needs of our customers and generate new revenue streams for the Company.
The Senior Software Engineer UI/UX will perform as an lead developer in developing the user experience of the brand new Commercial Lending Platform through world class Web technology. You need to have broad knowledge of the technology world and be willing to take up the challenge of leveraging the latest technologies in building the user experience. You should have an entrepreneurial spirit and the drive to bring new products to life. You must have the desire to continuously test and learn by putting in the right levers and gauges in place to monitor progress and performance. You need to be able to thrive in a fast-paced, start-up environment with cross functional stakeholders working toward a common goal. You will work very closely with the User Experience team with responsibility of designing the internal servicing portal and customer-facing website.
Responsibilities
Serving as a core member of an agile team that drives user story analysis and elaboration, designs and develops software applications, and builds automation tools for testing.
Owning all technical aspects of UI development for assigned applications; Performing hands-on architecture, design, and development of systems
Performing hands-on software and strategy development, typically spending about 50% of time actually writing code, conducting code reviews and testing in ongoing sprints, doing proof of concepts
Driving consistent development practices – tools and common components; Developing deep understanding of tie-ins with other systems and platforms within the supported domains
Working with technical product managers contributing to blueprints, and assisting with annual planning of feature sets
Identifying exciting opportunities for adopting new technology to solve existing needs and predicting future challenges
Mentoring other Software Engineers, may have management responsibilities over 2-3 Software Engineers
Manage your own time, and work well both independently and as part of a team.
Work closely with product managers, back-end and other front-end engineers to implement versatile solutions to tricky web development problems
Quickly generate and updating HTML prototypes from UI concepts for testing and team feedback
Finalizing HTML prototypes into Web Applications by integrating with back-end services and functionality
Embrace emerging standards while promoting best practices in order to push the limits of what a browser can do.
Working closely with UX/Visual Designers to translate visual and functional specifications to customer-facing experiences.
Build with future product and technical vision in mind to streamline the iterative release process.

Qualifications
6+ years of software development experience and preferably a BS or MS degree in computer science, computer engineering, or other technical discipline
Demonstrated experience in Agile development, application design, software development, and testing
Thorough understanding of XML, JSON, Web Service technologies, and data structure fundamentals
Experience with Java applications design and development in an Enterprise setting using J2EE, Spring, SQL DBMSs desired
Experience in building websites with responsive web design
Experience with Web Frameworks (MEAN stack), HTML/XHTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Software Version Control Systems (such as svn, git) required
Experience with JavaScript Libraries (such as jQuery, GWT, Dojo, AngularJS, React), Social Media (Twitter, Facebook, Google+) APIs, Search Engine Optimization, Web Page Optimization strategies desired Experience with adaptive and responsive techniques
Internationalization (I18N) and Localization (L10N) experience is a plus
Expertise in Objected Oriented Analysis and Design across a variety of platforms
A proven hunger to learn new technologies and translate them into working software
Ability to effectively communicate to internal and external business partners on solution design
Experience with a broad range of software languages and payments technologies is a plus
Experience working with Visual designers and an understanding of the user-centric design process
A passion for creating pixel-perfect and streamlined user experiences with supreme attention to detail
Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop) is a plus
Education and Certifications
·Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or other technical discipline, or equivalent work experience, is preferred
·Relevant technical certifications, is a plus
