Senior Software Engineer – Routing and Logistics (f/m)

We are searching out great Senior Software Engineers who are passionate about developing highly scalable and high performance routing and logistics services. If you join us you will be working on some of the most interesting and challenging problems with a world class team. This position is full-time and based in our cool office in Berlin.
Responsibilities
Working with our operations research team use your expert programming skills to code extremely efficient mathematical and statistical algorithms
Manage availability, latency, scalability, quality and efficiency of services by engineering reliability into software
Work closely with a product and engineering team to design, develop and deploy routing and logistics solutions
Utilize best engineering practices and agile methodologies to produce world class software
Identify innovative solutions to solve difficult problems
Skills and experience you have
Experience building and deploying high performance, reliable production micro services
Strong and proven programming skills in one or more of the following languages: Java, Scala, Go or C++
Ability to architect and develop the best data model for the problem using relational SQL, graph, and/or NoSQL data technologies
A strong passion for learning and applying the best new technologies
Big plus for experience working with graph databases, package routing algorithms, and/or geospatial services
BSc or MSc degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics or similar technical field
3+ years of system & software engineering
