Our Berlin based Navigation Guidance Team is developing cutting edge turn-by-turn navigation features usedon automotive products, smartphones, mobile devices and web services. We are following state-of-the-artSoftware Development practices and are looking for a new teammate (permanent & collocated) who will bringhis experience and skills to our exciting project within a competent, cross-functional, “multiculti” (10+nationalities), passionate and self-organized team.

In an Agile context, you’ll share the duties of your teammates:

• elaboration of user stories, (including initial estimation & acceptance criteria)

• writing executable acceptance tests, (specification by example)

• writing unit tests,

• writing performance tests/benchmarks where applicable,

• development of new features per se, (refining acceptance criteria)

• maintenance and refactoring of existing code,sharing progress and impediments (daily stand-up meeting) and addressing themwith your teammates,

• participating to team ceremonies, (review/demo, retrospective, planning)

• taking part in the development infrastructure, (build, testing, continuous integration, etc.)

• taking part in the architecture, (e.g. quick design sessions, reconsidering past choices)

• taking part in the transformational effort, (applied research, experimental development, spikes,exploratory testing)

• contributing to the documentation, (deliverables, team’s wiki)

• helping select your next teammates.
