Richie, a 12-person company in Helsinki, Finland, designs and develops app components for newspapers and magazines. We build for iOS, Android and the web, and work on things like publishing, analytics, advertising and content presentation.

We hope to add you, a senior software engineer, to our world class development team.

You can work on our mobile client code, either in Cocoa (iOS) or Java (Android). You can work on our web frontends with Javascript and React. You can work on our backend systems, written in Python/Django, Javascript/Nodejs, C/C++ and more. Or you can participate in operations, where we run a mixed cloud+dedicated infrastructure with 50+ dedicated physical servers and scores of cloud resources in a multi-vendor environment.

You should have significant, multi-year, real-world experience of building large software systems, preferrably with some of the languages, tools, and environments mentioned above. You play well with others. You are independent, goal-oriented, and an effective communicator.
