About Bazaarvoice
At Bazaarvoice, we design intelligent shopping experiences. By combining our extensive global network, a community of passionate product enthusiasts, and advanced enterprise technology, we connect thousands of brands and retailers with billions of consumers. Our solutions help brands engage with shoppers and gather large-scale user-generated content. This content reaches audiences worldwide through our broad and continually growing network for retail, social, and search syndication. We also equip brands and retailers with easy-to-use tools and dashboards that turn real-time consumer feedback into meaningful business insights. The outcome is smarter shopping: more loyal customers, higher sales, and better products.
The problem we solve: Brands and retailers often struggle to build genuine connections with consumers. Delivering trustworthy, inspiring content at key moments in the discovery and purchase journey is difficult. As a result, companies spend time and money on content that fails to attract, convert, or retain customers.
Our brand promise: We bridge the gap between brands and consumers.

We are looking for a highly skilled and strategic Senior Sourcing Manager to lead complex, high-value contract negotiations. This person will play a critical role in strengthening our financial performance and operational efficiency by securing strong commercial terms for software licenses, SaaS agreements, and professional services contracts.
The ideal candidate has deep knowledge of the technology landscape, commercial and legal contracting principles, and advanced negotiation tactics. This role requires strong collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and leadership, ensuring that contract terms support overall business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead end-to-end negotiations for major software, SaaS, and professional services contracts, including strategy, negotiation, drafting, redlining, and final execution.
• Act as a procurement expert and trusted advisor to business units, legal, and finance. Offer strategic guidance on negotiation tactics, risk reduction, and fallback positions.
• Review and analyze contracts to identify risks, legal concerns, and compliance issues. Ensure all agreements align with company policy, legal requirements, and industry standards.
• Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders across Engineering, IT, Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Legal to fully understand business needs and align on negotiation terms.
• Identify and resolve ambiguities or potential disputes before contract execution, and develop risk mitigation strategies.
• Support continuous improvement of templates, negotiation playbooks, and best practices. Mentor junior team members on contract management and negotiation.
• Maintain accurate documentation of negotiation activities, savings, redlines, and final contracts within the Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) system.
Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Law, or a related field—or equivalent experience.
• 7–10 years of experience negotiating contracts, with a strong focus on software licensing, SaaS, and professional services.
• Demonstrated success leading and closing complex, high-value deals.
• Deep understanding of commercial contract structures, legal terminology, and IP clauses common in technology agreements.
• Strong knowledge of pricing models, SLAs, indemnities, standard contractual terms, and data privacy regulations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including risk assessment and creative solution development.
Preferred Skills:
• Experience in a fast-paced tech company or global enterprise.
• Contract management or negotiation certifications (such as CCCM).
• Familiarity with CLM systems (Coupa, CLM, Icertis, Ironclad).
• Ability to balance multiple projects in a dynamic, deadline-driven environment.
Compensation: $115,000 – $125,000 per year
