Working as an integral part of our technical team, this role’s primary purpose is support the operational and managed services side of the business by working on Bulletproof Customer Portal.

The role:

• Consider code quality and good software design to be priorities and your code reflects this

• Produce solid, thoroughly tested features (including automated tests)

• Continuously optimize the performance of our RoR application

• Maintain instrument applications to provide insights into performance and to understand emerging issues

• Help extend existing applications through enhancements and integrations with third-party platforms

• Make design and implementation recommendations for our APIs

• Write code to support new API feature requests while maintaining existing functionality

• Help define requirements for projects

• Translate feature requirements into sound, creative software designs

• Assist with the planning and execution of software releases

To be successful in this role you must have:

• 5+ years experience building / constructing website as back-end coder

• 5+ years Ruby on Rails experience

• 5+ years Ruby experience

• Behaviour Driven Development

• Exposure in Rspec/Capybara, HTML5 and CSS3 and CSS preprocessors (SASS, LESS)

• Exposure to Agile methodologies, SCRUM, XP, OpenUP, Lean

• RESTful web services experience

• Microservices Architecture exposure
