Gravity4, the World’s First High-Frequency Marketing Operating System combining social, web, mobile, email, and CRM into a single click advertising interface is seeking an experiencedPHP Engineerfor a multinational (Remote) contract position.

  • Much of the work will involve writing, testing, and deploying high quality code whilst working with cross-functional product teams to seamlessly integrate our technology across our product universe.

Responsibilities:

  • Building world-class solutions and owning improvements on one or more existing products within our product universe, while working hand in hand with a team of other talented developers.
  • Analyzing and amending PHP software and MySQL database errors in a timely and accurate fashion and providing status reports to the Applications Development Manager.
  • Working closely with the Architects, developers, program and product managersconceptualizing and developing new software programs, databases and applications.
  • Meeting deliverable schedules in the development life cycle (SDLC) for a variety of projects.
  • Assisting in the preparation and documentation of software requirements and specifications.
  • Consistently write, translate, and code software programs, stored proceduresand applications according to specifications with the guidance of the ApplicationsDevelopment Manager.
  • Running and monitoring software performance tests on new and existing programs for the purposes of correcting errors, isolating areas for improvement, and general debugging.
  • Administering critical analysis of test results and delivering solutions to problem areas.
  • Serving as a liaison with network administrators, systems analysts, database administrators and software engineers to assist in resolving problems with software products or the organization’s software systems or databases.
