We need a talented PHP Ninja to:

• Extend and refactor existing PyroCMS and Zend Framework applications

• Imagine, spec, and estimate new projects

• Develop applications using PyroCMS, jQuery, and Bootstrap

• Perform update requests from users

• Communicate proactivelywith a developer, designer, and project manager

• Vision, spec, and estimate new projects

The ideal candidate will be an expert and communicative PHP developer whopays close attention to clean code and how it affects people.

S/he will work from anywherewith reliable internet and have the confidence to develop independently incollaboration with a small team including a lead developer and designer. Entrepreneurial,creative, and nomadic spirits encouraged. You’ll be invited to visitHawaii’s Big Island for code retreats or adventures.

The PHP Ninja will start by working on a suite of existing civic web tools that help prevent tobacco use and help us craft the vision for future web products.
