TheSenior Performance Test Engineer is acreative self-starter. The primary focus of this role will be to assist in the development and delivery of optimized and scalable applications. This team member will take lead, collaborate with the team and be responsible for the software delivery lifecycle via non-functional requirements gathering, conduct performance test feasibility study, prepare performance test planning, design Performance Test Framework, scripting, environment preparation, execution, identification/analysis of potential performance bottlenecks and provide alternate solutions to resolve these issues. He/she will serve a liaison between development, operations and architects. This team member will report status and risks in a timely manner. He/she will ensure and maintain documentation to support the performance testing lifecycle for any development project or testing effort.

Responsibilities:

-Responsible for designing, developing (scripting) and maintaining test strategy and framework to deliver optimized and scalable applications -Designs, develops and executes diverse software performance tests based on application requirements and SLAs -Reviews Functional and Non Functional Requirements in identifying Performance -Test Approach for the application under test -Determine and implement appropriate performance test strategies on continuous testing for iterative, agile scrum development teams; and volume-based tests for a given release -Ensure the availability of performance test environment -Timely reporting to stakeholders
