OVERVIEW
TeamGantt is one of the fastest growing project management applications right now. Adding a new mobile application will be a big part in continuing growth of the product and expanding the use and engagement of current users. Currently there is only a very stripped down mobile site that unfortunately has not received the attention it deserves.
You, as the lead mobile developer will play the very important role of building the TeamGantt mobile app from the ground up. The idea is to make a companion type app to the full web app. We are not necessarily looking to recreate the entire gantt/schedule capabilities on a mobile device, as that could be hard to achieve on a smaller screen. However, the types of features that we are looking to build out include : users being able to open up the app and see what they should be working on that day, update their progress, comment on tasks, view the status of their projects, track their time, etc.
TeamGantt is a place for people to focus on their craft and enjoy their work. You can work from home or a nearby coffee shop. Any quiet work environment that allows you to focus for extended periods of time is good with us.
RESPONSIBLITIES
Build out a high quality app that works on both iOS and Android by using some type of wrapper (ex. PhoneGap)
Work directly with Co-Founders John and Nathan on design and development of the application
Continually improve the mobile app to increase usage metrics and engagement
You will be the lead developer and own the mobile experience for TeamGantt
Because we are a small team, there are also opportunities to wear multiple hats and work on the marketing site and other areas of the business.
