Evil Studios, creators of Evil Apples with over 10 million downloads, is looking for an ambitious game developer with a high level of experience creating cross-platform 2D mobile games using frameworks such as Cocos2d-x, Unity, orUnreal Engine. You will be the principal developer of several new games, and working directly with the co-founders of the company (both iOS developers), a graphic designer, and back-end API developers to build and release several new games over the next few years.

The ideal candidate is comfortable working from home (or your Evil Bunker of choice) and communicating with a 100% remote team using modern collaboration tools like Slack, GitHub, and Waffle.io. You are self-motivated and havean Indie game developer mentality. You also enjoy having discussions about product direction and design review, and believe that the best creative work is the culmination of ideas from many sources.

You will be given the freedom to use the cross-platform game engine of your choice and you will be responsible for most of the day-to-day decisions about the architecture of the App. You want to work on something BIG that is actually in the hands of MILLIONS of people. The games you build at Evil Studios will be cross-promoted heavily using our existing Apps. Our goal at Evil Studios is to create 5-star games with a cult following of fans who love them.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Rapidly prototype new game ideas.

• Develop and release new games using the cross-platform game engine of choice.

• Contribute to and and use Open Source libraries.

• Write good code.
