About The Work:

• You will be creating high-quality, cutting edge products for the iOS platform.

• You will be the technology mastermind behind our complex and demanding user experiences.

• You will be working with a team of talented UX researchers, UI and Product designers, bringing creativity and providing technical advice.

• You will be working with a team of talented engineers overseas, facilitating team collaboration, learning and high quality developed code.

• As we grow, you can become a leader of a team of mobile engineers in Austin.

About You:

• You’re based in Austin, Texas.

• You have at least 2-3 years experience in iOS development and more than 5 years in software development in general.

• You like to collaborate directly with designers, strategists and other technologists to create the most successful product experience possible.

• You passionately keep up with the latest and greatest of iOS and the mobile development world.

• You’re 100% up to date and thoroughly familiar with the iOS SDK, including the features of the latest versions.

• You’re intimately familiar with Xcode and all of its tools (including Instruments).

• You’re familiar with or have worked with Swift and are ready to use it to create products.

• You understand and eloquently understand topics such as: memory management, blocks and multithreading in iOS, TCP/IP stack protocols and REST principles.

Bonus points for:

• Having client references from past clients who heart you.

• Having former employer references who are still recovering from your departure.

• Being able to discuss a recent project that failed or succeeded, and understanding why.

• Having prior design, web or android development experience.

• Having your own apps in the App Store.
