The role Usability and user experience are critical to our mission of bringing powerful DNS and traffic management tools to developers, and were looking for an experienced and opinionated Senior Frontend Engineer to take the lead on our portal and web development efforts. You will work together withour Visual Designer to render wireframes and mockups to HTML/CSS/JS. You will be responsible for ensuring complex workflows, data analytics, and platform capabilities are presented to users in easy to understand, visually appealing, responsive, and powerful interfaces. There are no layers of management in between you and the portal – you’re an engineer (albeit one with impeccable design instincts!) and you own the code. You should be well versed in all modern web technologies and be able to write quality, maintainable code which you will be responsible for testing in an automated fashion. Knowledge of good UI/UX design principles and experience with internet infrastructure are a big bonus. Technologies Our portal is 100% Javascript client atop our full featured REST/JSON API. We use AngularJS to implement a lighting fast client-side application, alongside Bootstrap and LESS for layout. We care deeply about data visualization and aim to present dense, useful analytics to our users: we leverage D3.js to go beyond basic charts and graphs. Experience interacting with a backend team is a big plus: your input will guide the development of our REST/JSON APIs. Relevant technologies includes:
