ezhome aims to become the #1 trusted provider of techenabled home services, starting by targeting the millions of consumers that use lawn care services. We provide an amazingly better home service experience using data science and software technology to dazzle customers and enable our service personnel to be more effective and efficient. We are pioneering the techenabled home services space with a fullstack approach.
ezhome was founded by two serial entrepreneurs and has been growing extremely fast (>$1M run rate in less than 6 months). We assembled a very highcaliber team and have raised significant funding from toptier investors. We are looking for top talent—join us in disrupting the $100 billion home services market!
Overview of the Role
Most of our projects are built with ReactJS, Babel, Immutable.js, and webpack, and we’re interested in ClojureScript, Relay and Isomorphic rendering. You will have a lot of freedom in choosing the technologies for the products you will be building.
You’ll be joining a diverse, worldclass group of engineers, designers, and marketers. Our strongest academic ties are with Stanford and University of Illinois UrbanaChampaign, and prior industry stops for our team members include Google, oDesk (Upwork) and VMware.
Job Responsibilities:
- Own the frontend for one or multiple web apps
- Build clean and simple UIs
- Develop UIs using ReactJS
- Move the app forward rapidly
Must Have:
- Excellent knowledge of modern JavaScript development practices
- Solid experience building SinglePage Applications
- Experience working with ReactJS (or significant interest and willingness to learn fast)
- Strong analytical and debugging skills
- Excellent spoken and written English
- BS degree in CS or EE or equivalent experience
Nice to Have:
- MS or PhD degree in CS or EE
- Code on github that you can share with us
- Experience with git, JIRA and unit test frameworks
- Experience working in remote teams using scrum
